SharkHero Conservation Run 2017

On Saturday, the SharkHero Conservation Run 2017 (SHCR2017) , which is held on 18 Nov 2017 in Celebration Centre Sunsuria City, is a family themed fun run aimed to raise awareness for endangered shark population. Besides the 4 km run, a carnival is held on the same day which consist of 9 food trucks, 15 games & arts booths and a stage performance. Good time well spend in the evening with loved ones.

SCHR2017 attracted approximately 5,500 participants for the event day. For every ticket sold, RM5 will be donated to Shark Saver Malaysia. In addition to public participation, various companies and beauty queens, as part of their CSR efforts, have sponsored members from up to 15 centre of orphanage houses and OKU organizations to take part in the event. Volunteers from UKM marine science department, Shark Saver Malaysia and Acexelent Team staff will be available on the day itself to provide assistance to participants.

Acexelent Team is deeply honoured to be able to invite Yang Amat Mulia Raja Shuibah Al-Sultan Idris Shahand and Sunsuria City CEO Mr. Koong Wai Seng to officiate the opening of SCHR2017.

Right before the run, participants are encouraged to join in warm up and the famous Shark Doo Doo Dance. The fun run will starts at 5 pm, honourable guests together with Pocohtee & Friends Mascot will flag off at the starting line. There will be a Question & Answer (Q&A) session for every 1 km. Participants will receive a badge for every question answered correctly. 

After the run, participants can look forward to the carnival which photo and games booths have been meticulously prepared by Acexelent Team. A total of 60 exciting prizes will be available for the winners of game booths. There will also be an exhibition by Shark Saver Malaysia as well as Arts & Craft Session for public to participate. 

It's a nice family time and friends too that take part in this meaningful this SharkHero Conservation Run 2017. In between performances, representative of Dato Paduka Kevy will present WCA certificate to Acexelent team as token of appreciation. At the same time, winner of Best Online Shark Doo Doo dance were announced and prize were given. The final proceed to be donated to Shark Saver Malaysia will be announced before and the closing Shark Saver Malaysia representative will accept the donation int he form of mock cheque. It's a nice fun time for healthy walk or run and good to know there's knowledge of Shark No To Shark Fins at the same time at the carnival.

Weplay: we play-we learn

Last Saturday for me and little one, after sending Sean over to Johan Speaking Academy which you can click to read on what he program he went. We headed to Glo-Damanasara with mommy Jane and her little one. It was the day that my dear is busy working so he's not able to accompany son and me.

It's my first time to be at Glo Damansara, the event venue is at WorQ. 12 parenting bloggers are invited at the event for a good time together. Great bonding time for parents and children also teamwork as we are put to team to work together to make something incredible.

A morning start with the Tai Chi Ball, yeah it's good exercise to activating your body movement. With oriental ingenuity, Weplay creates a meaningful childhood experience for parents and children.

There's activities that we need to build Banana bridge or Banana Boat. It was fun as we trying to keep them stand on the banana shape toy. The Weplay Cookie Festival a fun building set that gives child and parent to think at the same time, fun bonding time together.

It's also fun to unlock the mystery in as one of the cookie would contained of either Beads or Beads. Yeah we are given on the day the two Weplay Cookies to find guess what's inside o fit.

This is another fun activities named Boss Baby that parents and children take part together. Vestibular system of body control, balance, sensory integration. It has total of 6 activities that children need to throw the dice to get start with.
The 6 activities are:

1. One Jumping Jack
2. Collect 2 points  
3. Do chicken dance
4. Collect 4 points
5. Jumping Jacks
6. Jumping jacks and chicken dance

Next was a break time for half an hour. The interactive play 3 is Future Architect, using the IcyIce Building Set where the team got to build together it's not gonna be busy but it was fun. Look does it look like a tower and family of duck? Yeah we are Group 1, so we need to build a tower and a family of duck.

Group 2- build a robot and a house
Group 3 - build a KLCC tower
Group 4 - build a castle and train

Toys provide plenty of enjoyment and happiness, it helps to build self-esteem. Motor skill, emotional development, cognitive development and social development.

A fun playground which is set up by Weplay. Kids enjoying themselves, they can't stop playing.

Kids Tasty Speech @Johan Speaking Academy

Good afternoon to my readers and friends, today I am going to share on what we do last weekend. Sean has attended the Kids Tasty Speech at Johan Speaking Academy at TTDI. If you have been following my blog, you'll know that my son has attended the Kids Public Speaking workshop in English and Mandarin last year.

Busy parenting didn't stop me from giving my son a break from studies and tuition. Good to have signed him up for other kids activities. Before I tell you about the Kids Tasty Speech, just to let you know there's Kids Tour Guide workshop happening the weekend of August School Holiday. If you don't have any plan for your children aged 9 years old to 12 years old, can consider taking part in this workshop. Visit the link about to know more about this workshop, 1st child is RM450, 2nd child is RM800. This mean for 2 pax is RM800 for this Kids Tour Guide at Farm In The City. It will be a good experience for the kids on public speaking and learn about the animal.

Now about  Kids Tasty Speech 1st day, Sean attended at Johan Speaking Academy at TTDI. The first day they learn about drinks and cupcakes of what Luscious by Lisa T are selling. They have a menu of the combo meal that we can order on the 2nd day. The second day will be the day we all go to the Plaza Mont Kiara for the Kids Tasty Speech. It's a two days workshop of Kids Tasty Speech, it's our first time to go Plaza Mont Kiara too.

Finding Dory Movie with family

my son so happy and excited as we gonna watch the movie.

We have watched the Finding Dory movie with family this afternoon. The movie in hall 1 at family friendly hall in Sunway Pyramid. If you have seen Finding Nemo, you'll look forward to watch Finding Dory because it is related. Read on but there will some spoiler. By the way if you are watching movie in hall 1, do look out as there's no seating with letter 'i', they have G, H, K but no letter 'i'. So have to move our seating which didn't exist and seated on F roll instead.

Dory has short term memory lost, so she's out to look for her parents. She left her parents at early age, her journey met new friend named Hank who is a octopus. Hank fear of kids zone. Nemo and his dad helped Dory to look for her parents.

It's an adventure movie where Dory and her friends met a giant squid. The are many sea shells in the movie. What can you do with sea shells? You can place them on the sand to make a long trace like tracing back to your home, so that you wouldn't get lost or it might someday brings back the memory for you that you need to follow the shells back to your home.

The movie is suitable for children to watch with companion of adults.

Sunway Lagoon "Waves of Fun"

School holiday, where to go? Have you plan your children school holiday? It's gonna be December so you don't want to miss out the fun in Sunway Lagoon. Sunway Lagoon is where you can have holiday fun and excitement with its "Waves of Fun" campaign, a whole good time for the whole family. It's fun and educational for the kids and grown up.

Kids also like playground at the Water Park, my sons non stop having a good time.

 How many rounds my kids going on the slides? Countless, but there's huge bucket at the playground that filling with water on top. Yup! That well on me just in time when I want to run off, hehe.. didn't make it to the ground I got all wet from head to toe. You should try that, it's fun waiting for the water to fill up.

Just to let you know if you are with young children and the young at heart, you can check out the Wildlife Multi-Animal Show at 3.00pm in Wildlife Theatre where they can see cute and cuddly animals like small toothed palm civet, ball python and parrots performing little tricks.

my sons are happy to see the pair of of White Lions, Zola and Zuri. 

We went to check out the world's wildlife animals, who have made Sunway Lagoon their home.

These include a new pair of White Lions, Zola and Zuri. 

The white lions are a great addition to the Sunway Wildlife Park's recent expansion plans that provides you the opportunity to learn more about wildlife. Their Wildlife Park also promotes messages on how we can help to top poaching and cruelty of animals.
