MYDIN SJ ECHO CHINESE NEW YEAR CARNIVAL 2018

 Last Friday, after I send Sean and his little brother for tuition I went to MYDIN MALL USJ. Thanks to MYDIN for inviting me to attend the event. It's a happening evening and it started at 6pm there's crowd front of MYDIN Mall that having a great time enjoying the show and on the other are the vendors who are busy preparing the food and beverage to serve in the night. It's happening Friday til 11pm at MYDIN MALL USJ.

'Xinnian Kuale, Gong Xi Fa Cai. Untuk kesekian kalinya, MYDIN USJ, Subang Jaya memeriahkan Subang Jaya dengan meraikan Tahun Baru Cina melalui Sambutan Rumah Terbuka. Sambutan ini merupakan tradisi tahunan di MYDIN USJ bagi megeratkan silaturahim komuniti setempat disamping terus mengetengahkan MYDIN sebagai kerana ianya mampu menzahirkan perasaan saling menghormati dalam kalangan masyarakat dan peluang untuk mendapat rakan-rakan yang baru. Saya berharap agar MYDIN USJ dan komuniti USJ akan terus mengekalkan sinergi ini samada melalui jaringan persahabatan mahupun perniagaan. It's been 6th year now that MYDIN USJ has co-operate with local newspaper SJ ECHO, a local newspaper for the community of Subang Jaya successful this open of house of MYDIN SJ ECHO Chinese New Year Carnival 2018.

MYDIN SJ ECHO Chinese New Year 2018 is a happening open house where presents of YB Hannah Yeoh Tseow Suan, Ahli Dewan Undangan Negeri (ADUN) Subang Jaya and also Speaker Dewan Undangan Negeri (DUN) Selangor and YB Wong Chen, Ahli Dewan Undangan Negeri (ADUN) Kelana Jaya, as well as Majlis Perbandaran Subang Jaya (MPSJ), Polis Daerah Tempatan (PBT), Bomba & Penyelamat Daerah Subang Jaya and guests.

There are 20 old folks from Rumah Victory Puchong that attended the event, they have received the angpao and goodie bags in the night. The night is great suppliers and media/bloggers too attended the open house.

The night is happening as there's free food for public to enjoy with total of 24 food stalls. Beverage and food namely Yong Tau Foo, Char Kuetiau, Dim Sum, Bihun Goreng, Nasi Goreng, Nasi Ayam, Laksa, Ayam Berbekuk , Bubur Cha Cha and many more. Acrobatic lion dance and drum performances followed by special guest Angeline Wong who was the winner in year 2016 for Best Artist Women Award in Industry Music (AIM). She sang three songs in the night at the stage.

It's a wonderful night that shoppers stand the chance to win lucky draw. The shoppers need to spend RM88 in a single receipt at MYDIN MALL USJ and place the receipt in the box at information counter at MYDIN MALL USJ from 2nd March 2018 to 9 March 2018 by 7pm. The lucky draw sessions was exciting as shoppers waiting their name to be call in the night, lucky shoppers of the receipt went to stage to collect the prize. There's lucky draw for media and bloggers too.
Indeed a wonderful Friday night experience with MYDIN MALL USJ, can't wait to go again next year.

Happy 3rd Anniversary to KidZania Kuala Lumpur

Happy Chinese New Year folks, tomorrow is Chap Goh Mei. What is your programmer on night of Chap Goh Mei? We didn't have any plan yet as we might just stay home.

Last Saturday, I was invited to attend KidZania Kuala Lumpur 3rd Anniversary. KidZania marks its birthday with a new loyalty programme, KidZo earning bonuses, exciting performances.

My sons love KidZania, they haven't go together for sometimes. It's their second time to go together since it's a Saturday, they can play in KidZania. 

Award-winning indoor family edutainment centre, KidZania Kuala Lumpur celebrates its third anniversary with children and parents. We were excited as early as 9.40, we saw the crowd queue for their free tickets. The first 100 visitors were given free entry, were you there on Saturday?

The opening performances is held at KidZania National Anthem.

There is special performances by KidZania Kuala Lumpur's dance troupe and percussionists, musical bands as well as exhilarating acrobatic lion dance which kept the festive mood going.

The celebration was further livened by the attendance of television personalities Maria Tunku Sabri, Sasha Bashir, Azwaliza Azman, Praevitriana Yuliawiratman, and Irin Putri Azmi, who conducted exclusive meet and greet sessions with their fans in a bid to support KidZania Kuala Lumpur’s anniversary.


The third anniversary celebration was presided over by the Governor of KidZania Malaysia and Singapore, Susanah Abdul Rani alongside Yang Mulia Tunku Dato’ Ahmad Burhanuddin, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Themed Attractions and Resorts Sdn Bhd who all joined in to officiate the event in a cake-cutting extravaganza.

My sons now having their very own KidZania Pazzport as I brought my toddler to made it on the Saturday. His big bro already has it and on the day of anniversary, children with the KidZania Pazzport can earn extra 10 KidZos.

As an added party treat, at 3.00pm, KidZania Kuala Lumpur also gave away 300 party packs that included goodies from KidZania industry partners Allianz, HOYA, Pharmaniaga and PONEY. My sons queue in line to wait for their party packs collection, there is Fashion Show on the which everyone enjoy watching. Check out the instagram video during the party packs giveaway.

 One of my son favourite job is being KPJ Specialist Surgeon or Nurse.

Amidst its anniversary celebrations, KidZania Kuala Lumpur officially launched the KidZania Kuala Lumpur B·KidZanian loyalty programme which allows for kids to become “CitiZens” of KidZania. Given a passport as a sign of their citizenship, members of B·KidZanian will be given the opportunity to record and track their career and job accomplishments by way of passport stamps, given to them as they complete tasks or activities at the various KidZania establishments. The more stamps the kids acquire, the faster they’ll advance through the three levels of CitiZenship which tier from “Entry”, “Distinguished” to “Honorable”; thus earning them more benefits to enjoy at KidZania, including preferred access at the Airport, discounts at the National Store of KidZania, and more kidZos – the official currency for KidZania.


Specially in conjunction with the launch, kids who signed up for the B·KidZanian programme were also given 30% vouchers off KidZania Kuala Lumpur admission tickets as well as enjoyed the added benefit of an added 10 kidZos in all earning establishments on the same day.




As a responsible organization, fortifying its social responsibility commitments and creating a positive impact to improve the lives of its surrounding communities, Themed Attractions and Resorts Sdn Bhd also sponsored the visit of children from homes Rumah Solehah and Keluarga Besar Norlina Alawi Berhad, extending the opportunity for these children to experience KidZania for the first time.

The winners of the Chinese Calligraphy contest that was held in conjunction with KidZania Kuala Lumpur’s Chinese New Year activities were also announced. The grand prize winner, Carolyn Mae Tea Jia received a set of KidZania Kuala Lumpur tickets and exclusive KidZania Kuala Lumpur merchandise.

CNY Carnival 2015 at MYDIN USJ

Happy Chinese New Year to all my friends and blog followers, if you aren't celebrating I am sure you have enjoy the holidays with family or friends. Last Friday, I was invited to attend the Chinese New Year Carnival 2015 at Mydin Mall USJ, 

It was 3rd Year anniversary of MYDIN MALL USJ too, the day where MYDIN MALL USJ cooperate with SJ ECHO, the local community newspaper of Subang Jaya to work together on the Chinese New Year Carnival 2015. It's a big night where everyone gets to enjoy the live entertainment of fire eaters, drum performances, lion dance and lucky draw for the lucky shoppers of MYDIN MALL USJ. 

The night together with blogger friends and my son to watch the fire eaters. It's nice performance and I manage snap picture above where on of them is blow the fire! 

My blogger friend Elana was one of the lucky audiences that got ask to help performers to hold the fire stick. 

Kids, remember always do not to play with fire at home or anywhere.

As early as 5pm the mall is crowded with people, son and I were excited as we love to watch the firecrackers and lion dance performance. There's lion dance performance at the entrance of Mydin Mall, then then there's drum performance out the mall. You get non stop live entertainment all night long, plus the lucky draws that shoppers waiting to win. 

This year Chinese New Year 2015 is fall on year of Goat. According to Chinese zodiac, this year on 8th inside the Chinese Calendar is the year where it brings many luck than the previous year. Number eight is a significant number which mean prosperity and wealth in Chinese.

Everyone awaiting to picture with Mamee Monster mascot, hehe.. we too waited for it.

More than 5000 people attended the CNY Carnival 2015 at MYDIN USJ, 

CNY Carnival at MYDIN USJ has been a tradition, MYDIN cooperation with non profit association (NGO) every year without fail to celebrate the big day of Chinese New year because to gather all walks of life, regardless of race and religion.

CNY Carnival 2015 has been a success, graced by the presence of guests of honour YB Hannah Yeoh, Speaker Dewan Negeri Selangor cum Ahli Dewan Undangan Negeri (ADUN) Subang Jaya. CNY Carnival 2015, was official in the night where Yee Sang tossing in the night with the VVIP.  

34 old folks from Rumah Bakti Ci Hang Chempaka, Shah Alam, Selangor were invited. They were served Yee Sang too, yeah they have the moment to do Yee Sang toasting together, they received angpao and goodie bags in the night from YB Hannah Yeoh and Mr Salim bin Mydin, Director of Mydin Mohamed Holdings Bhd.

The night,  I can see many happy faces at the event where shoppers awaiting for lucky draws and activities throughout the night. Lucky session has been split to three session, lucky shopper gets to win TV Sharp LED 60 inch, iphone 6 plusm iphone 6, TV Samsung LED 40 inch, and 2 mini iPad 42g, other attractive prizes namely Samsung Tab, Toshiba fridge, Samsung Home Theatre, Washing Machine, TDK Trek Sound System, Fan Cooler, TDK Earphone, Multi Cooker, Watch, ASUS Fonepad, Fearless Mountain Bicycle, and hampers.

The night everyone gets to enjoy variety of food namely Hainan Chicken Rice, Fried Rice, Singapore Fried Bihun, Dim Sum, Asam Laksa, and many more as there were total of 12 stalls at the CNY Carnival 2015. 

The night we enjoy each other company too with blogger friends, Nur Misan, Ayue, and Emily.

Mydin Mall has been one of my favorite mall, I bought my son's school trolley bags from there too. I also bought groceries and products that my family used from there.

Modern Lion Dance VS Traditional Lion Dace

We love watching the movie Ah Boys to Men 1 and 2, so now there's The Lion Men part 1. Yesterday we watched the movie in GSC Midvalley, I am glad we have a quality family time to watch.

What do you think of Modern Lion Dance mix with hip hop and street performance together performed?

Tosh Zhang is one of the actors in the movie, he's Shi Shen so handsome and I like his new hairstyle in the movie. Mikey is Wang Wei Liang, he's the boy called himself Lobang in Ah Boys to Men. In movie The Lion Men, he's fear of height and he needs to confront his fear to compete in Lion Dance competition.

I find that there's no need of kitchen part for this movie where they are cooking, but it's fine we will see Mikey doing the cooking, he made delicious bao like Ding Tai Fung. His's called Mikey but everyone calling him Monkey.

It's nice movie to watch, movie rated PG13, bring your children to watch if they like to see Lion Dance comes to life just like robot. Mikey has a plush toy of Lion Dance, he always talk to his toy and one day it comes to life to talk to him and show him ways of perform Lion Dance.
