2015 Year of Goat

I haven't update this blog as now I have time, first to say Happy New Year to my friends/followers/readers/visitors on my blog. Above makeup of me was taken last year, when I attended my cousin's wedding. I done casual makeup post too on my lifestyle blog.

Being mommy of two boys, I find that being mommy we have many things to do. But don't neglect ourselves yeah, we need pampering time too. I find that best pampering moment is not about going for spa but having love yourself doing something nice like makeup or dress up.

I bought a red blouse for CNY this year. The blouse I bought at RM15, I consider it very good bargain as I bought from Parkson. You can check out Parkson if you are heading there. I saw there is RM19 Chinese New Year trends type of blouse too. When comes to shopping I check on price and budget I have. How about you? When comes to shopping do you have a budget on it?

Though I saw some products of hair care or skin car I need to purchase. I would think first before I purchase let's say I haven't finish using them or are the products on promotion or sales. Don't forget that all products have an expiry dates. Always check your skin care products! Talking of shopping, I know my dear needs a new pair of working shoes, he is still hunting for it. We need to find a suitable day to go hunting for his shoes. He haven't got time the XES Premium Store. I can't purchase for him as he needs to try them by himself, even though I know his size but he prefers to shop for himself.

Chinese New Year just few weeks away, have you got any plan to go where during the school holiday? Some of my friends have plan to visit KL, so I suggest they bring their kids together to go Discoveria in Avenue K, they also can check out Dinoscovery's Trip Advisor page

Guardian's My Date with Beauty

It is my first time to join the Guardian's My Date with Beauty. this year theme "My Date with Beauty" is this year's Great Guardian Makeover held at Ground Floor Concourse (old wing) at One Utama Shopping Mall Centre.  This is two days event, it started today and tomorrow is the last day.

My Saturday early morning out of house has heavy raining, this didn't stop me from gong to Guardian's My Date with Beauty. You can check out my instagram video on a short tour.

 Here's fabulous for your to do your hair style there are three choices for long hair styles and short hair styles. The makeup you can choose either Nude makeup or Glam makeup.

First will be makeup before doing the hairstyle, 1st picture is not me as I am no.7. She's no.8 she's having her makeup first then my turn. Two people for my hair do, I choose half braided hair for long hair style.

Customers who purchased RM20 and above including one participating brand in a single receipt were entled to one Makeover Ticket at RM10 to join The Great Guardian Makeover event at One Utama Shopping Centre. Each Makeover Ticket entitled the customer to a makeover sesson, photo session and a goody bag.

Tag @guardianMalaysia and #GuardianBeauties and you are on your way for a chance to win a Designer Bag worth RM1,140.

18 brands participated in this year's event, they are: L'Oreal Paris, Maybelline New York, Alcon, Avene, Bio-essence, BioGrow Oat BG22, Biore, Blackmores, Brands, Dermatix, Enchanteur, Hada Labo, Nano White, Neutrogena, Nivea, Oslee, Palmer's and Safi.

I haven't tell you that, I chosen Nude makeup. 

I went back to the Guardian's Date with Beauty event area, I spotted the beauty above. They was a demonstration on Air-Brush Make Up by A Cut Above.

Halloween makeup kit for son

Remembered I blogged about son's Halloween participation in Citta Mall? I used one of the above makeup for his red devil face. Yeah just for the red, I using the left red tube in the picture.

 

I bought them at Toys R Us, I haven't try them all on him.

 

It is not cheap, the makeup above price range of RM10 to RM15 if not mistaken.

 

I would advice you don't buy them because I don't think the colour are sharp enough, they are light in colour. :(

 

I was surprise to see the red colour I used on him is very light red in colour.

 

It is my first time to purchase these Halloween makeup kit, now I know how they turned out. I wouldn't buy them again.

Halloween zombie makeup

Which do you like? The Dracula makeup or the Zombie makeup above? Is he better with the Dracula teeth or without it?

What do you think of above picture? Yeah I put son on try out the Halloween Dracula. I just want to have some fun with him, he likes it so much. I wanted him to stay longer with the makeup so I can know how long can they last. He's sweat so much, so I need to know if the makeup will melt.

I didn't purchase any face paint, I find them expensive! I just use my makeup on him. lol

He wants to share his looked with his classmate, one of the classmate's mom told me she afraid that her girl might not able sleep at night after looking his makeup. lol

Son likes to watch Hotel Transylvania, so this is the makeup I did for him.

I am sure you know what is in the picture, so many of them. It was fun to take part in makeup contest, I did that last year and I use above for participation. I am still newbie in makeup, believe it or not I only started to use makeup for eyes and face recently. I seldom use mascara because I can see them melt. LOL

Do you clean your brushes?

I am sure some of you having more than one brush, so how often do you clean them? I find this post by Skin Deco very good info for everyone of us. I know that I need to wash the brushes and sponge but I don't know the correct way.

Above is the restaurant we go on Mother's Day, Restaurant Foo Villa Seafood is located at Mahkota Cheras. As for Father's Day, not sure of the plan.

Revlon Cosmetics for sale!

I want to clear them from my cupboard, oh yeah I have so many things and I love cosmetics but I can't use them all. I want to clear them, you can see the manufacture date above. As you can see above is the Revlon Matte eye shadow, it is brown in colour. Another is the Revlon Lash Mascara as you can see it is sealed.

They are all brand new.

Total amount of item at retail is MYR$70 plus.

My mom is interested to find more hairstyles and haircuts. She likes to change hairstyles as sometimes she is bored with the same hairstyles. I find this site with many info on the hairstyles. Hairstyles matter for every woman because you want to look best and give everyone a good impression.

I find that Short Hairstyles suitable for my mom as she does not wash her hair everyday. She has dandruff and I often help her with hair dye. I think having short hairstyles have the advantage as you don't need a long time to blow hair and hair is easier to manage than long hairstyles.

How to put on fake eyelashes

I am not kidding, I am not good in make up and I have no idea on how to put up the fake eyelashes. I did try putting on double sided tapes, funny thing it is not working at all.

Now what type of glue I need to use for the fake eyelashes?
