It's my parents and 2nd brother first time to visit the shopping centre and it's their lucky day to see the largest Thomas & Friends™diorama with the Thomas & Friends™ TrackMaster™sets.

CELEBRATE THE KOOL-EST RAYA EVER @ SUNWAY LAGOON MALAYSIA

This June School Holidays just over, we have a great time spend at Sunway Lagoon Malaysia.
Early morning, we arrived as early as 8.30am as we are excited about going to Sunway Lagoon. At 9.20am there were the Kool Raya Welcome Dance happening at the main entrance of Sunway Lagoon. Sunway Lagoon welcomes guests to its ‘Kool Raya’ campaign from 15 – 24 June 2018 to celebrate the Kool-est Raya ever!

Sunway Lagoon, Malaysia’s premier multi-park destination located at the heart of Sunway City, is only 30 minutes away from Kuala Lumpur city centre and Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA). I didn't want to be left out and have a photo session during A Kool Raya Story at the Carousel inside the Sunway Lagoon.

 My son is so excited and he spotted fishes swimming in the aquarium of the shop. He loves to go Sunway Lagoon as it has got the fun family friendly theme park that he likes to play. It was a raining day, it didn't stop us from enjoy ourselves. I bought the rain coat for sons to wear.

 We then head to Nickelodeon Lost Lagoon to wait for SpongeBob & Patrick for the photo session before heading up for the play area.

 It's a splashing good time at SpongeBob Splash Adventure as everyone waited for the big bucket to filled up with water. We didn't wait for the slime time which is at 3.30pm.

 Never enough of playing though there's raining and there's no war between the brothers just love.
Great bonding time for my sons and during this school holidays before back to school.

The Raya Bazaar at the Surf Beach from 12pm – 4pm during the ten-day celebration to indulge in Raya delicacies (Lemang and Ketupat), and partake in a series of fun games and activities such as the Giant Jenga, Anyam Ketupat, 4D Twister, Henna Mehndi and the Tornado Blast Challenge that promises a whirlwind of fun. We enjoyed the Raya Interactive Show at Surf Beach. Though it's raining many people still in the water playing and having a great time.

Not far from Surf Beach, we head to Mali Cove. This is for the younger theme park goers.

 I like Baby Shark and while kids are busy playing water nearby, I head to the Baby Shark cut-out characters at the PinkFong Baby Shark Bash to have this photo taken. Cool things up further and receive a pair of Kool Shades upon purchase of a Baby Shark Combo Meal or PinkFong Baby Shark Ice Cream! There will be special appearances by everyone’s favourite Nickelodeon characters including SpongeBob SquarePants, Patrick Star, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dora the Explorer and Boots.

Wrapped Sardines Ayam Brand in olive oil

It's school holidays, what do you have in mind for lunch? How about wrapped sardines? This is simple and easy to make. Below will consists of two recipes instead of one, but I am only using a can of Sardines Ayam Brand in olive oil.

 

 One piece of wrap, and have smashed the sardines and add on the cut onions and tomato inside. Also added Thai Chili Sauce for flavour. Wrapped it and ready to eat! 

 One piece of wrap cut into two pieces. One Cucumber slide into two pieces, then add top the mashed egg and cut onions and tomato with sardines then wrap it. Yes ready to eat. 

Yeah with just a can of Sardines Ayam Brand in olive oil, happy trying. :D

Bloggers JAW-SOME Day 2016 @Aquaria KLCC

Early morning Saturday, we are ready for the Bloggers JAW-SOME Day 2016 at Aquaria KLCC. Being mommy blogger, I want the best for my family. Since it's a family event, my family is excited.

It's our first time to enter the grouper hall (mph), I didn't there's a nice hall that is big enough to have an event or party inside. This place is nice if you have interest to have a birthday party, product launch, a marriage proposal, corporate event or private function, Aquaria KLCC is one of the best casual fun venues with a diverse and spectacular range of settings.

Lunch is provided at the venue.


We have guided tour during the event, if you have interest to find guided tour. You can reservation for it, it is 45 minutes tour, RM191 inclusive of GST. Prior booking is required to avoid disappointment.

Here are just some random photos take during the event, there are many more which is not in the blog post. Don't forget to bring along mosquitoes repellent, and turn off your camera or hand phone flash light if you want to take photo.

Aquaria KLCC is an educational platform for the public and the younger generations. Over the past 10 years, Aquaria KLCC has successfully launched several campaigns, sharing the wonders of the ocean to inspire conservation, education and sea ethics.

During this event we learn about protect ocean life, as oceans are the largest ecosystems on Earth, they are the Earth's largest life support system. To survive and flourish, we all need healthy oceans. Avoid throw any rubbish in ocean, the ocean cannot digest rubbish like plastic bag. The poor sea turtles will get stuck with the plastic or ate it which caused it not able to digest and can die.

It's educational place where you and your family will enjoy too. I find it interesting as my sons also want to know see more and know more.

We manage to capture this beautiful spotted garden eel, can you spot in on the photo above?

In Aquaria KLCC we can see big sharks and small sharks, there is a living ocean that we can see Sharks' Den. Don't worry you won't get lost in the Aquaria KLCC, you can get a map to see where you are going. 

Unique, Fun and Joyful feeding sessions that we didn't want to miss on the Saturday. 

We waited til 12 noon at Aquatheatre. 

They have professional aquarists feed the fishes and inverterbrates daily. 

This is the time you get to witness marine life enjoying their food in the live action.

Their behaviours are best observed during feeding time.

My son likes the pen and fridge magnetic of the Aquaria KLCC. He keeping them in the pockets throughout the event.

Look behind us, what is that marine life beside the schooling fish.

It's my son first time to see seahorse, yeah it's small seahorse that he can't take his eyes off.

Kids Public Speaking in Mandarin @Johan Speaking Academy

During March School Holidays, what you have plan for your kids? My son joined the Kids Public Speaking in Mandarin at Johan Speaking Academy on 16 March and 17 March 2016, it's One and Half Day workshop for kids to learn public speaking in Mandarin.

My son's name is on the list, he's number 6 to perform in the kids public speaking. 

During the Kids Public Speaking in English, one and half day he was no.9 to perform.

School holidays he has got tuition classes to attend but I have decided to give him a break. I want him to enjoy and express himself in learning the Kids Public Speaking in Mandarin. The one and half day workshop in Kids Public Speaking in Mandarin, he's very happy and have make many friends on the day. It's good to have friends to join the classes together so they can spend time together and learn.

At the Kids Public Speaking in Mandarin one and half day workshop at Johan Speaking Academy, kids are given chance to express themselves. They can brush up their Mandarin language at the same time. It is my son first time to go on stage to speak in Mandarin. For your information, he also take part in Kids Public Speaking in English one and half day workshop before taking this. Both are different experienced for the kids though both are workshop of kids public speaking. Kids have many interest in learning, they like to learn in both languages.

I'm glad that my son is able to perform well on the day. 

I am proud of him. 

During the school holiday, many parents have line up activities and tuition classes for kids. If you can just let them attend the kids public speaking workshop for one and half day, you'll be surprise to see the difference. Indeed, never try never know. 

I let my son attended Kids Public Speaking in English at Johan Speaking Academy and continues with Kids Public Speaking in Mandarin because I want to give him to build self confidence and builds self esteem, also helps him to speak up. He has fear on standing on stage and glad that he manage to overcome it.

Many parents come for Kids Public Speaking, parent send them from Kepong, Rawang and even further. We can record video and snap photo with our smart phones or you can bring your own camera to video. Second day of workshop is where kids perform on stage.

Parents can also signed up children with their siblings to take part in Kids Public Speaking. It's fun learning together and bonding at the same time. Siblings can learn together if you see their age is not far from each other.

Kids Public Speaking in Mandarin is new in Johan Speaking Academy, it's good for parents to let children to learn. 

Public Speaking helps children to build confidence and be a better communicator.

Kids emcees of the day

Public Speaking is a very important skill to have besides academic qualification. It promotes interpersonal skills, improves verbal communications and increases vocabulary. This is where you can help your child to build self confidence and build self esteem.

My son is happy to see one of his friend named Joey, both attended the same workshop together. 

Son is also happy to see some friends he knows joining the Kids Public Speaking in Mandarin together. It's fun to learn together and kids can enjoy each other company during the one and half day workshop. Johan Speaking Academy: One and Half Day Workshop

First day at Kids Public Speaking

This March School Holidays, I told son that he's going to Kids Public Speaking workshop is it 1 and half day workshop at Johan Speaking Academy located at Taman Tun Dr Ismail (TTDI).

My son hasn't been on stage for a long time since the Halloween contest 2 years back. During the halloween contest it was just perform the act, there's no public speaking involved. It seems he has lost of confidence to go stage since that. I am happy that I have enrolled him for the one and half day workshop at Kids Public Speaking, it's in English. It build back his confidence, and he gets to know friends that have similar interest in learning public speaking.

Kids introduce each other, Yeow Shen is 10 years old and  Ng Li Yang is 12 years old. 

First day of public speaking from 9.30am to 3.30pm. Second day is where parents can see their child perform on stage to present themselves. Second day of public speaking from 9.30am to 1.30pm. Second is like a big day for every parent, we get to see our child perform in front their new friends and parents.

I am proud of my son that he's able to face his fear of going on stage again. Public speaking helps him to build confidence and be a better communicator.
