Behind-The-Scenes Tour with son

 Last Saturday is a fun day for mom and son, we wake up early morning at 6am to prepare ourselves. Thanks to my dear to sending us off at Wisma Genting, Kuala Lumpur to wait for the bus.

Discoveria: Dinoscovery by Dinosaurs Live! Exhibition in Avenue K

Have you got plan for this school holiday? Before the school holiday start, we have decided to check out Dinoscovery by Dinosaurs Live! This exhibition is in Avenue K, Kuala Lumpur. Check out my instagram video by click on the link.

My boys love to play their Dinosaurs toys and this is great experience for them. Especially my eldest son he loves it. This place is suitable for children 3 years and older, where they can travel back in time and uncover the wonders hands-on learning through 15 experiential and highly interactive educational activities, fun for the whole family.

Everyone gets to be Junior Paleonthologist!

Once we enter the Dinoscovery, we get the map to search for 10 hidden dinosaur specimens.

That's not all we get the vest, torch light, dino detector wrist band that we need to use it to find the clue for the answers.

You can choose to say no need to have torch light but you'll have hard time to look in the dark. It's not that dark but you know it it's a quest/journey the Dinoscovery by Dinosaurs Live! You don't want to miss out the fun to hunt for dinosaurs and specimens.

My toddler enjoy every moment in the Dinoscovery, he's favourite moment are seeing the dinosaur's eggs and running with the dinosaur. Yes, no kidding you have your kids run with the dinosaur to see the human win or the dinosaur wins. He has so much fun that I can say he race with dinosaur for more than nine times. It doesn't matter win or lose, he has fun running and we were cheering for him. The dinosaur he is racing with  is Velociraptor! 

I have the experience on the big tail of dinosaurs, wearing it like a backpack and try hitting the points. Woo.. this is difficult and the dinosaur's tail is very heavy. 

Don't worry if you want to try, the Discoveria staff is there to assist you. 

My sons enjoy themselves digging up to find the dinosaurs fossil. 

My dear and I have hands on experience with save the dinosaurs by shooting pests. It's a paint ball, so now I know how it's feel to use the paintball gun. 

My sons love their time to in the mini cinema, yeah watch Dinoscovery in 3D. My toddler first time to watch movie with 3D glasses. 

Kids get to enjoy the colouring moment, and I like the above picture where children learn of the A-Z letter of dinosaurs.

Good laugh watch Mr. Peabody & Sherman

Yesterday it was quite last few hours before the show start, I won the premier movie passes to watch Mr. Peabody & Sherman. Son didn't believe me that we going to watch movie in the night.

In the movie they have a time machine called WABAC where they can use it to go back to the past. This is the way Sherman learns about history. Sherman and his classmate Penny caught in a fight during their recess time.

It's interesting to watch how a dog named Mr. Peabody can raise a child, he's not just any dog, it's a genius dog! I am glad my dear and my son enjoy the movie, they have a good laugh. How's Mr Peabody going to make Mona Lisa laugh so Leonardo can paint a good picture of her.

Funny caption in the movie that son and me never forget "Smell my victory!", what is it about? You gonna watch it to know it. They are many characters in the movie, I am sure that's one that you like. Let me know after you watched the movie.

The movie is rated P13, so best accompany your children to watch together.

Movie Review; Planes 2013

On Monday, I received email that I won two passes to watch Planes.

Happy son and me get to watch Planes together, yeah just mother and son! We spotted the cute recycle planes at TGV, One Utama and didn't believe our eyes that we get to see the cute planes again!

 

Yes the movie is in Malay version, although son's not understand much because he's poor in BM.

But both of us enjoy the movie from start to the end.

If you have seen Despicable Me 2, you will remembered Al Macho, yes he's in the movie Planes too! LOL

Okay probably not the AL MACHO of Despicable ME 2 but son kept telling me one of the planes look just like him and he has name AL CHU too.

This movie is about Dusty, he's a farm plane for fertilizing and he's interest to join the famous areal race. You will like to watch this movie, so many cars and planes in it! Find out how Dusty beat other planes and how he help one plane to lane, without his help the plane would have crashed!

Movie review: Percy Jackson:Sea of Monsters

I am happy I won passes to watch the Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters. I thought I won only two passes and I checked again it was four passes! We are thrilled watching this movie together, I invited my dear and son to watch together. Son loves the Percy Jackson movie, he seen the Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lighting Thief. Percy Jackson is the demigod son of Poseidon

So when people asked what movie is Percy Jackson? First thing comes to mind was the half body man and half horse creature.

In this movie, Percy Jackson finds out he has another brother. Yeah his one eye brother cyclop. Percy and his friends need to get Golden Fleece to save the ailing magical tree which been protecting their home from foes. The Golden Fleece can bring back the dead, no kidding!

I almost miss out that you get to see zombies on the ship! Yeah, not just the old ship but the crew of zombies. There's a wolf with scorpion tail.

The three taxi drivers from hell, the women with no eyes! Guess how they going to drive the taxi.

This movie is rated PG13, so you can bring your children to watch it during the school holiday.

20 month old boy loves stairs

This 16 March my baby going to be 21 months old, he is so active now. He will be going up stairs by himself, yeah no kidding I need to chase after him as worry he would fall down. I used the playpen to block the staircase he manages push it away.

He is not like other boys, if they have fallen down the stairs before they would be scare but not him. He would try to go up the staircase again. We have the baby gate upstairs, thanks to friend to give us the gate. The baby gate is useful, even though we need open and closed the gate.

Once he is upstairs he will messes things up, especially throwing down the broom!

Fun Fair Coupon@Sunway Lagoon

Last Sunday we have great fun, we decided to go Sunway Lagoon. I choose to purchase three parks instead of all parks because my children are too young to go all park. My son and I have good splashing time in the water park, he loves the water so much he doesn't want to stop. I rented the double tube RM30 which inclusive of RM15 deposit, I was given the wristband and number of the double tube written on it.

My first stop is the Pirate's Revenge, I took the ride my family members take a rest at other corner. It is breath taking experience makes me think of the movie "Final Destination", not sure why this movie just pop up. Pirate's Revenge- Malaysia's First 360-degrees Rotating Pirate Ship! No kidding most passengers are screaming, some passengers have their eyes closed but not me. If you want to ride why would you want to close your eyes?

The last stop would be the Fun Fair and Amusement Park. My son loves to play the pick the duck, beware each coupon cost RM4 so if you want to play all the games you may need to purchase more coupons.

My son won a badge, well I think whoever played at the fun fair will bring home something. :D

If you plan to go Sunway Lagoon be sure to be there by 10 am to queue, I was there 10.30 and the queue so long I waited at least 30 min or more. You cannot bring in any food or drinks, they will check your bags! No kidding, I purchased a bottle 100 plus and a bottle mineral bottle plus two sausage it cost me RM16.

There is camera man that like to take your picture, the photo is not cheap! One photo would cost RM35, if you like photo frame in key chain it woud be RM45. You are allow to choose the photo that you like for print out.

Movie Review: Journey 2 The Mysterious Island

I brought my son to watch the movie Journey 2 The Mysterious Island although it is not in 3D, we enjoy the movie from start til the end. It is exciting to watch the adventure journey of Hank and Sean. Dwayne Johnson stars as Hank in the movie. It is funny to see the big guy scare of little lizard, what you think when he saw the huge lizard in the island?

This movie is for PG13. I see there is adult that bring their friend to watch the movie. I am sure your whole family will enjoy watching this movie. I have the urge to watch it again, how about you?

Adventure: World's Tallest Indoor Tube Slide

I know life is a challenge and do you like adventure? I have been to the World's Tallest Indoor Tube Slide it is located in Empire Shopping Gallery. Bear in mind that it is not for everyone to take part, there is need to check on the height of the person. If you have weak heart, don't go for it. I went for it because I like it and I scream inside the tube. LOL

How tall is the indoor tube slide, it is like 5 storey height. You need to see it for yourself, if you are at Empire shopping mall. The shopping mall is nearby Subang Parade, and Carrefour not far away. If you have tried the slide there let me know how you feel. :D
